Michael Vale, the guy who played Fred the Baker in the old school Dunkin' Donuts commercials, has passed away. I used to love those commercials, and I still love Dunkin' Donuts coffee, so this kinda bums me out. Thanks for the laughs, Fred!

Yay!! Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are having their first child together, according to US Weekly. The report was confirmed by Rossdale's father and Gwen's mother. I'm so happy to hear this. I adore Gwen Stefani, and she's wanted to have a baby for a very long time. Congratulations!!!!

R.I.P. Richard Pryor

Richard Pryor, 65, passed away this morning. He died of a heart attack, after battling multiple sclerosis for many years.

I'm really sad to hear about this. I know many didn't like his comedy, but he truly was a pioneer in the stand-up comic world. I thought he was absolutely hilarious.

I hope the laughs never stop for him wherever he is now.

Update! Matt Damon married his fiancee, Luciana Barroso, today at a private ceremony in New York City. His spokeswoman wouldn't comment on the recent report by Access Hollywood that Barroso is pregnant, but I'm thinking it looks pretty good when they're running down the aisle like that.

Also -- why is she Luciana Bozan all of a sudden? A few hours earlier, everyone was calling her Luciana Barroso, now she's Luciana Bozan. I don't get it. Then again, Luciana Damon's a bit clunky.

Baby for Matt Damon

I couldn't come up with a witty title. Not that most of them are all that witty, but at least I usually try a little bit.

So yeah, Matt Damon and his fiancee are expecting a little bundle of joy. Luciana Barroso is said to be about 3 months along, according to Access Hollywood. It will be Damon's first child, and Barroso's second. Congrats!

Brad Pitt's publicist has confirmed that Pitt is in the process of becoming an adoptive parent to Angelina Jolie's kids, Maddox and Zahara. That sound you hear is Jennifer Aniston screaming and pulling her hair out.

Marilyn Manson and Dita Von Teese got married in Ireland this weekend. The bride reportedly wore a royal purple gown with a corset, while the groom donned a (probably not) traditional black tuxedo.

You just know that was a freaky-ass wedding. But congratulations all the same.

Oprah, Dave. Dave, Oprah.

Oprah Winfrey appeared on Dave Letterman's show last night for the first time in 16 years, ending what the media has portrayed to be some sort of feud between them. This is what I personally took away from the long-awaited event:

1) Dave kissed her butt the entire time (which I guess is to be expected).

2) Oprah REALLY likes herself, and loves to tell you how great she is. But in case you forgot, she grew up poor. Really poor.

3) Oprah was completely awkward on the show. You could tell she was very uncomfortable being there.

4) Her appearance was a snoozefest. There were quite a few times where I considered changing the channel.

You're turning violet, Violet.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck brought a baby girl into the world this afternoon, and named her Violet. It's a cute name, I guess, but everytime I hear it I think of Violet Beauregarde from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Anyway, everybody's healthy and happy.... hooray!
